Hey kids....been a while, it has, it has, and, well, with all the fuss about the site lately, I felt it was time to write another post to keep you abreast of the happenings.

Today was a rather productive kinda day, and I figured I'd best share it with the State of Iowa.  That particular state is due to be a rather unpleasant and duly distant memory in just 2 short days now...and don't think for even one minute I'll be upset about it either.  But before I left, well, FOREVER, I figured I wasn't done taking a last poke at those of the "BBL."  Thanks, by the way, go out to my good friends Melissa Martin (a fellow podcaster, and a damn good looking one to boot) and Jodi Mueller of "Parental Alienation" fame.  If it wouldn't have been for them, I mighta missed the whole kitten kaboodle.  Now, even though I promised myself that I wouldn't put them as the head photo to the article, this doesn't mean I'm gonna be Mr. Swell and leave them out in the cold either (where I'm certain both of them would much rather be) so here's my tribute...(sorry ladies, I just HADDA do it):

Wait...hold it....now rewind...fuss about the site?  OK, Let's start there.  Now, here's a killer for ya....it took me two long years of publishing articles (most of my jail time doesn't count) to get to 100,000 hits on ADS...and I was damn proud of that too, make no mistake.  But here's the kicker, you ready?  From August (when it rolled over) until the end of December, I was rotting away in jail; and during this time, I published nary an article...but ADS picked up 26,000 hits in just 4 months.  This leads me to believe that, finally, the right people are taking a look.  Remember, there was only a single incentive to look at the blog, and that incentive was SOLELY the fact that I filed federal court complaints, and at the end of each and every section, it stated only this:  "For more information, see "America's Deadly Sins" (the blog).  Kinda makes me feel all gushy inside....finally, SOMEONE CARES!

2nd, today was a special day, when these two warrior women came to Des Moines to help fight the good fight at the Iowa State Capitol.  Of course, I couldn't resist.  I jumped on the first high-speed mass transit vehicle and wormed my way over to see what damage I could do.  And, I do believe my near-psychic ability about people worked in my favor.

I went to the "Find Your Legislator" section of the Iowa Legislator's website, and picked 4 names out of a hat, based solely on a hunch.  Out of those 4, 2 were dead on bulls-eyes.

I won't give out their names (we certainly wouldn't want DHS and the enemy laying it on 'em thick to lay low), but one agreed to introduce legislation to get proper code concerning making recordings of juvenile hearings (no more relying solely on transcripts, which they are currently charging $3.50 a page for, and don't even get put into the record officially unless you DO pay them to do so; and can be fabricated and forged easily for fraud purposes)...if I wrote up the proposal.  I naturally jumped on that, with a vengeance.  There was also mention made of the possibility to consider introducing confidentiality and immunity changes....but let's not jump too high.  I'm willing to forego those for now in favor of getting the recordings made; for those about to endure the taking of their children in the future.  Had I had that luxury, we'd still have our daughter.

The other legislator had evidently (as well as obviously) heard our kind of stories before, and showed true and massive concern for what we had endured in our cases...and promised to look into it with utter sincerity.  I think, just with  these two (especially after they get an oogle at the blog, which I kindly shoved down their throats), there's hope kindled anew.  Again, I'd like to thank Jodi and Melissa for giving me the opportunity to hopefully make a difference for my FORMER state of Iowa.

Finally, to the two legislators out there, who are probably reading this right about now?  Thank you for your time.  I hope this opens your eyes to what horrors are plaguing those of Iowa, and have been for some time.  Thank you for caring  :D

Gee....I'm so sorry about Nancy Elscott and Kyle Thies' new found fame, but hey, all's fair in love in war....right?  So sorry I'll be out of your reach now, and equally sorry that I no longer own the number that your detective (who has ABSOLUTELY no reason to be calling) keeps calling.  No crime was committed...(not that there ever was a crime committed previously)...just flexing the ol' "Freedom of speech" rights.  Your little "warnings" are hardly needed (the damage is surely done...and, unlike the "Domestic Terrorist" article you fed the Register, not a word is libelous); I won't be talking to a single Iowa resident again...unless they're TIGHT friends that I've known for decades...and they know the secret handshake - or, unless they're going to be at the losing end of the myriad of lawsuits I intend to file...if they haven't been filed already.  I think it's only fair to say goodbye to all the criminals, just one last time...and to remind them that their day is coming...this time on the FED level, since it is my utmost promise that the fee for my case against Polk County will be my FIRST priority...even before eating or living.

2nd, and finally, I'd like to speak a special adios to the biggest criminal in the Polk County area, John P. Sarcone...I will not rest, my friend, until you see jail for all that you have done.  Your Hell on Earth will be personally serviced you by none other than me.  I will shout your name until the Earth stands still and justice is done.  Rot in that Hell when you arrive there, and don't forget who it was that finally managed to put you there.

Before you...or Linda get froggy and decide to jump out to try and catch me before I leave, I have no discernible address that you'll be able to find me at, at this time.  There's an address on file, in both the DMV and my court papers...but I'm staying at neither one...so don't waste your time.  NO ONE knows where I'm staying...not even my wife; and I intend to keep it that way for 2 more days.

Call the Secret Service on me...I'm sure they'll remember the last time you cried "Wolf", and won't be so quick to hunt me down...and call the FBI offices (you've called how many now?  10?  12?)  Not a single agent has ever been to my door, nor do they appear to be going through my emails anymore, are not hooked up to my NEW computer, nor do they seem to be logging in behind me on Facebook.  Looks like the case is CLOSED.  Too bad...so sad...for YOU!

THEODORE BOOKER ARRESTED FOR MY "CRIME" IN L.A.

Yeah, so for those of you just getting here to the blog, in case you don't know what our Government is doing these days, well, here's a doozie for ya.  See, there's 3 things that your current Government wants from us more than anything....our guns, our children, and our silence, so that they can continue to commit their crimes against America, and against humanity.

If you look down a couple of posts, you'll see something about Theodore and Adonis Booker.  Also, down a ways, is an article about a newborn that they kidnapped right here in my town.  Since I posted the article about the woman in my town, the woman involved has just up and disappeared.  I haven't heard from her in almost 5 days.  There's another woman's story, whose story I have already deleted for other reasons, that I haven't seen on Facebook for a few days either.  Also, since then (last night), they busted into my friend Theodore's apartment, took his kids, and took him to jail...for something that I did, with a ridiculously high bond ($500,000), they won't even tell his wife what they're charging him with (because there WAS NO CRIME!!!)...AND MY NAME...is all over the sworn affidavits.  They also took his computers, electronics, and phones.

Why am I still here?  That should be obvious, if it isn't already.  For one, they've already taken all I had.  My wife's only daughter has been also taken by CPS here.  For two, they want me quiet.  Since putting me in jail (like they did a couple of days ago) didn't work out so well for them, they have chosen, instead, to pick on the people in my list of articles.  See, when it was just my story here in the blog, I looked like a special case.  But with other people's horror stories out there, well, it's much worse for them...because it exposes those around the country...and the world, in what they're doing.  The more you see, the less likely it is that they will continue to get away with what they're doing.  They can't take me down, because really, I have committed no real crime.  They also can't take anything away from me, because I have nothing for them to take.  So instead, they have opted, obviously, to begin making me pay for what I'm doing, by picking on those who have chosen to present their stories to me to expose.

I called the FBI 4 times.  The video above shows what they're doing everytime I call.  No one wants to inform me as to why this man was arrested for what I did, and why I'm a free man.

Oh one more thing, that they have OBVIOUSLY forgotten, I have an email program that tells me everytime they open one of my emails...and emails, recently, have been opened over and over again....by those of L.A. county...and those of MY county, as recently as 5 minutes ago for L.A. county.  Now why would they be doing that, I wonder?  I would say it would be to see how I react, wouldn't you??  Like, maybe they think I'll take it all down, to save others?  Good thinking!

But shutting me up is going to be no easy task.  No, this sort of behavior from them tends to be a lot like throwing gas on an already blazing fire.  No, you idiots in LA and in Carroll County Iowa, you're going to have to do better than that.

Here are some shots of them opening my emails, and how recently, to boot.  Eat that, criminals.  You will, someday, hang for your treason...I'll be the executioner, watching and smiling as the life seeps out of your eyes.

The first is an LA County open, just occuring not 5 minutes ago.  The 2nd is a Carroll County open that happened at 9:14 a.m...both on a Sunday.  You tell me.

Blaine Cooper - Proof that CPS is "The New World Order" Gestapo

Folks, it should be apparent, now, after watching this, that CPS is here only to, and is being used FOR, controlling the behavior of American's everywhere.  If it wasn't apparent by now, it should be.

Mort and Jacque Karlson

Folks, I would like you to know that there is a woman in my life, still, after 2 years now, after we asked her to (politely) leave our home because my wife had JUST had her only baby and was bringing her home, to get another place to live, after they camped out on our couch for over 4 weeks, sucked us dry of resources like food and money (borrowed, and never paid back) following our offer to help her and her husband out because they were homeless, and had no where to stay.

Their retribution on us? To call CPS on us and cost us our daughter, over nothing, because she had no other avenue to legally "get me" for asking her to move out, because we didn't have room for 4 adults and a baby...in an efficiency apt.

Now this woman has managed to hunt us down again, and is now taunting me by commenting on my blog. Here's what she said this time (by the way, thank you, oh THANK YOU "Foggy and Jill", for leaving up that WONDERFUL forum thread, slamming me at all angles...)

"Well well...I thought I was the only one who couldn't stand you for almost 2 years now. I got you, and Thank God the baby is safe! Now there's Chrstopher Bruce the Mighty Spork! ROFLMAO! Damn I love those people. Karma gotcha. I bet I'm doing a hell of a lot better than you! Have a great day! I'm the Rebel! ��✔"

Now, I don't know how all of YOU feel about the person/people that called CPS on you and cost you YOUR children....but I'm not exactly too happy with psychotic fat bitch, who has made my life a total living hell for almost 2 years now. Now I would like your help. Her name is Jacque Karlson...and her husband's name is Mort Karlson. She is a short fat lazy brunette with no body to speak of, and has this insane idea that she's sexy and wears short skirts that show off her horrendously ugly legs. She's a controlling hateful man abuser, who takes over 6 psychotic drugs. Her husband is a nice quiet easygoing guy named Mort Karlson. He's from NORWAY, and is very intelligent, and wears his hair rebelliously long, in a ponytail. He is controlled by her and never says a single word in dispute when he's around her, and does every little thing she says.

Her residence before she met us was somewhere on the streets of Florida....and I do not rightly remember where. I do know that Florida is where she more than likely is, and that this is her preferred state of resicence. More importantly, she practically lives online...here, on Twitter (her favorite place), and has blocked me so I can't find out where she is, and what she's doing. I will pay anyone $500 cash, instantly, and another $500 after I FIND HER MYSELF, to give me any information like where she works and lives. Thank you.

By the way, I would love to include (so you know this isn't just BS, and we did wrong, etc, etc.) her letter to me, making me feel sorry for her, and the 2 articles that show the vindictive and horrid things she did.

The Corrupt Crooks Letter

As a lot of folks on Facebook are already well aware, I have made my intent clear to do something that requires crystal balls, which I have in abundance.  It would appear that I am to get no justice in America, and have my daughter returned...so those of the crooked and corrupt court of Iowa are going to watch with baited breath, while I try a move so bold as to either get what I want done, which would be to have our daughter returned to the mother's arms, where she belongs, and has belonged since day one, or go to jail trying.

Here, for the world to see, is the email these crooks received on Friday, in their inboxes:

"To all the crooks continuously committing crimes against the citizens of Iowa, the US, and the World:

On the 1st of November, I will be going to Newton, Iowa; to the home of Ronald Shaver, the biological "Father" of our daughter - who had sex with my wife one time, and left her out to dry for over a year, and never once checked up on her to see if she was OK, but because DHS sought him out to find someone, ANYONE, to take our daughter away from us that wasn't family (even though they had already offered her to the mother's sister, then never called her again) and who raised his pinky and said he wanted to be involved in her life; even though he had 2 convicted OWI's on his record, and an assault charge, and was single, they then gave our daughter to him, so they wouldn't have to give her to us or the mother's family, even though we were married, had no record - to pick up our rightful daughter, who should have, by this time, been returned to our care, and our parental rights restored.

Even though the director of DHS, Charles Palmer, himself, even stated that "The child should have never been removed from the mother", and agreed with the decision of the Administrative Law Judge, that all allegations were bullspit, and had us removed from the child abuse registry...for neglect of all things, niether the district court judge or the Supreme Court will consider this case, un-terminate our rights or give us our child back...even though this case should have never been in the hands of this Jurisdiction, due to the mother AND THE CHILD having more than enough Indian blood to be considered to be under ICWA rights.  What's more, neither the district court, nor the Supreme Court have the right to deprive ANY parent of their God Given or Constitutionally provisioned parental rights, and the Supreme Law of the land is to let parents raise their children as they see fit...this has been ruled many times in case law.

So, on November first, at noon, I will be coming to the home of Ronald Shaver to take the child in question back to the mother, where she belongs.  I imagine that you will, at that time, arrest me.  I say, go for it.  I do not mind being a martyr for what's right; you've had your chance to make things right, and yet you refuse to release our daughter.  We have expended every legal way to have her returned, all shot down by your crooked and corrupt judicial system.  Now it's time for me to stand up for what's right.

You are, of course, welcome to have me arrested, but keep this in mind - I have well over 2200 facebook friends that are behind me, all destroyed by CPS in their respective states; the entirety of Anonymous, the National Liberty Alliance, and several talk show hosts, several reporters, several newspaper folks, and TeamLaw standing behind what I'm about to do.  This story will be added to my blog, where I have more than a half a million views btwn. the blog and my Google plus profile; and will be uploaded constantly to Twitter, where I have a very large following of over 5500 people, over half of which are also involved in this...and the other half that include very famous people (including Montel Williams, the talk show host), several hundred patriots, rock and country bands and singers, and politicians.

This email will also be copied and sent to all the Congressman, Representatives, the Governor, the Lt. Governor, and anyone else in the community of Des Moines Iowa that I can possibly think of.  My coming to Newton will be also live recorded on several talk shows around the country, and my arrest, if that's the way you wanna play it, will be recorded and uploaded for all the world to see.  As you may have already guessed, the FBI and all law enforcement are, also, fully informed of my intent, as is Ronald Shaver, the father.

Keep in mind, as well, that I am a sovereign national now.  I have no ties to the Corporate US, and I am not a member of your system.  I am free, and only pledge allegience to myself, and I rule over myself.  I do not comply with your rules or laws, nor do I "Stand Under" your statutes and codes.  Touch me, arrest me, and you will have real trouble holding me.  My support network will flood your offices with calls, and you will be duly harrassed until my release, and my daughter given back to us.

Be it known, also, that yet ANOTHER rescindment of signatures has been sent to the Supreme Court of Iowa, retracting all signatures, agreements and contracts with the State of Iowa and The U.S. Corporation.

It's time to do the right thing by the mother, and for you folks, and Ronald Shaver, to give this child back to the parent who wanted her, all the way from the beginning until she was 6 months old, not at the last minute like the abandoning father, who unfriended the mother and never once checked on her to see if she was pregnant or not.

Legal Father, whether the courts say differently...or not."

And, just to make this little ordeal more public than it already is, we will be filing this affidavit with the courts, and forwarding it to a little agency in our state, the Iowa Department of Public Safety and Iowa Professional Standards Bureau, which will involve and alert the State and County sheriffs of my intent, and perhaps elicit their help to make sure that things go over more smoothly.  I highly suggest, that if any of you try this, that you file this affidavit immediately, reading like I have written mine...

Affidavit of Truth, and a Matter Forthcoming

The State of Iowa wrongfully, as well as admittedly stole our daughter, Trilynn Brueggeman, from biological parent Elizabeth Bruce, and legal father Christopher Bruce, on the date of 7/21/2014, and in the course of 6 months, terminated both parent’s legal and biological rights, as opposed to the Constitution of the United States, and the Supreme Court law of the land, that has ruled many times that those rights are naturally every parent’s rights, to raise their children as they see fit, and be in possession of those constitutionally provisioned parental rights, regardless of the state’s intervention.  The Department of Human Services/Child Protective Services administrative offices, in 2 separate assessment appeals, once by an Administrative Law Judge, Maggie LeMarche, and once by Charles Palmer himself, the Director, both ruled that “The child should have never been removed from the parents”, and that we should be taken off of the child abuse registry, and our records expunged of the allegations.  The case has been sitting in appeals to termination in the Iowa Supreme Court for seven months.  They refuse to hear the case, because the laws broken and the corruption goes so deep, that to bring it to the fore would expose them for their fraud in taking our child, even going so far as to completely ignore DHS/CPS’s own administrative ruling that says, in so many words, that they were wrong in taking our daughter.

Thereby, I plan to present this public notice and affidavit, that I will be traveling to the home of Ronald Shaver, the biological SINGLE father, whom the courts awarded sole custody of this child, in an effort to request that he give the child back to her rightful parents.  I have, at this time, exhausted every possible legal remedy to get her restored to us and our rights put back in place, but it would appear that the courts do not wish to dispense proper justice, nor admit that they didn’t even had jurisdiction of this child and her parents in the first place, considering the mother and child both had adequate Indian blood in them to show the need for tribal intervention with the Cherokee Indians, and that right to their jurisdiction in the matter was taken from the mother illegally by the social worker that removed her, and continued to withhold that intervention during the course of the entire case, until just before the rights were terminated.  Not only that, but all contracts, agreements, etc. were broken...with the United States Corporation, as well as with any state corporation sufficiently, with our rescindment of all signatures on all documents in November of 2014, and is filed in both the District and Supreme Courts.  No court in Iowa has the ability to exercise Jurisdiction over these parents OR the child, from that date.  We the parents also claim to no longer be citizens of this state or this country’s corporation, and are, as we speak, Sovereign Nationals living in the United States Corporate boundaries only, as free citizens.  We affirm that, not only have all contractual agreements been dissolved with this state, we also affirm that we no longer fall under the Jurisdiction of any state, city, county, or country Jurisdiction, and thereby have every legal right to reclaim our rightful property, one Trilynn Brueggeman, from the care of Ronald Shaver, post haste.

See folks, the only way you will be able to reclaim what's yours, is to stop "Standing Under" the city, county, state and U.S. Government's rule.  Be who you are, not who they have assigned you to be.  Be free of their rule, as well as their jurisdiction.  Stop paying for the right to travel, the right to speak, and the right to practice what you wish to practice.  You are not a ward of the state, nor are you an employee of Government, paying off the futures you were traded to get.  Be a sovereign national.  Don't let the Government tell you when you can drive, when you can go to another country, take care of your own children, or teach your kids the bullshit common core they're trying to shove down their throats in an effort to dumb them down.

Get with it America.  The only way we can stop this corruption in Government is to get rid of the Government, and rule ourselves.  Rip up your identification.  Burn your social security cards...hell, there isn't going to be any social security left by the time you get to our current retirement age, why do you think they keep increasing it?  Birth Certificate?  Tear it up.  You weren't in on that agreement anyway, you were way too young.  Driver's license?  Do you currently need to ask the Government if you walk to the grocery store?  Then why are you asking for the priveledge to drive...when you already have a right to travel any other way?  Car registration?  Gun Registration?  Really?  So what, someday they can declare them all null and void and someday take your cars and guns?  These are inaliable rights folks, we all have them.  We can speak about whatever we want whenever we want, do you really feel the Government gives you that right?  Because they don't.  By signing up for these things you are "Standing Under" the codes, statutes and are given priveleges by the Corporate United States, and paying out the ass for it.  Stop doing so, and Government has no more power....over you, over your money...or over your rights as a sovereign national.  Be a living breathing man or women, and shed the rule over you.  The more that do it, the quicker we get rid of all of our problems.

"Adoption Bonuses: The Money Behind the Madness 

Child "protection" is one of the biggest businesses in the country. We spend $12 billion a year on it. 
The money goes to tens of thousands of a) state employees, b) collateral professionals, such as lawyers, court personnel, court investigators, evaluators and guardians, judges, and c) DSS contracted vendors such as counselors, therapists, more "evaluators", junk psychologists, residential facilities, foster parents, adoptive parents, MSPCC, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, YMCA, etc. This newspaper is not big enough to list all of the people in this state who have a job, draw a paycheck, or make their profits off the kids in DSS custody. 

In this article I explain the financial infrastructure that provides the motivation for DSS to take people’s children – and not give them back. 

In 1974 Walter Mondale promoted the Child Abuse and Prevention Act which began feeding massive amounts of federal funding to states to set up programs to combat child abuse and neglect. From that came Child "Protective" Services, as we know it today. After the bill passed, Mondale himself expressed concerns that it could be misused. He worried that it could lead states to create a "business" in dealing with children. 

Then in 1997 President Clinton passed the "Adoption and Safe Families Act." The public relations campaign promoted it as a way to help abused and neglected children who languished in foster care for years, often being shuffled among dozens of foster homes, never having a real home and family. In a press release from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services dated November 24, 1999, it refers to "President Clinton’s initiative to double by 2002 the number of children in foster care who are adopted or otherwise permanently placed." 

It all sounded so heartwarming. We, the American public, are so easily led. We love to buy stereotypes; we just eat them up, no questions asked. But, my mother, bless her heart, taught me from the time I was young to "consider the source." In the stereotype that we’ve been sold about kids in foster care, we picture a forlorn, hollow-eyed child, thin and pale, looking up at us beseechingly through a dirt streaked face. Unconsciously, we pull up old pictures from Life magazine of children in Appalachia in the 1930s. We think of orphans and children abandoned by parents who look like Manson family members. We play a nostalgic movie in our heads of the little fellow shyly walking across an emerald green, manicured lawn to meet Ward and June Cleaver, his new adoptive parents, who lead him into their lovely suburban home. We imagine the little tyke’s eyes growing as big as saucers as the Cleavers show him his very own room, full of toys and sports gear. And we just feel so gosh darn good about ourselves. 

Now it’s time to wake up to the reality of the adoption business. 

Very few children who are being used to supply the adoption market are hollow-eyed tykes from Appalachia. Very few are crack babies from the projects. [Oh… you thought those were the children they were saving? Think again]. When you are marketing a product you have to provide a desirable product that sells. In the adoption business that would be nice kids with reasonably good genetics who clean up good. An interesting point is that the Cape Cod & Islands office leads the state in terms of processing kids into the system and having them adopted out. More than the inner city areas, the projects, Mission Hill, Brockton, Lynn, etc. Interesting… 
With the implementation of the Adoption and Safe Families Act, President Clinton tried to make himself look like a humanitarian who is responsible for saving the abused and neglected children. The drive of this initiative is to offer cash "bonuses" to states for every child they have adopted out of foster care, with the goal of doubling their adoptions by 2002, and sustaining that for each subsequent year. They actually call them "adoption incentive bonuses," to promote the adoption of children. 

Where to Find the Children

A whole new industry was put into motion. A sweet marketing scheme that even Bill Gates could envy. Now, if you have a basket of apples, and people start giving you $100 per apple, what are you going to do? Make sure that you have an unlimited supply of apples, right? 
The United States Department of Health & Human Services administers Child Protective Services. To accompany the ASF Act, the President requested, by executive memorandum, an initiative entitled Adoption 2002, to be implemented and managed by Health & Human Services. The initiative not only gives the cash adoption bonuses to the states, it also provides cash adoption subsidies to adoptive parents until the children turn eighteen. 

Everybody makes money. If anyone really believes that these people are doing this out of the goodness of their hearts, then I’ve got some bad news for you. The fact that this program is run by HHS, ordered from the very top, explains why the citizens who are victims of DSS get no response from their legislators. It explains why no one in the Administration cares about the abuse and fatalities of children in the "care" of DSS, and no one wants to hear about the broken arms, verbal abuse, or rapes. They are just business casualties. It explains why the legislators I’ve talked to for the past three years look at me with pity. Because I’m preaching to the already damned. 
The legislators have forgotten who funds their paychecks and who they need to account to, as has the Governor. Because it isn’t the President. It’s us. 

How DSS Is Helped

The way that the adoption bonuses work is that each state is given a baseline number of expected adoptions based on population. 

For every child that DSS can get adopted, there is a bonus of $4,000 to $6,000. 

But that is just the starting figure in a complex mathematical formula in which each bonus is multiplied by the percentage that the state has managed to exceed its baseline adoption number. The states must maintain this increase in each successive year. [Like compound interest.] The bill reads: "$4,000 to $6,000 will be multiplied by the amount (if any) by which the number of foster child adoptions in the State exceeds the base number of foster child adoptions for the State for the fiscal year." In the "technical assistance" section of the bill it states that, "the Secretary [of HHS] may, directly or through grants or contracts, provide technical assistance to assist states and local communities to reach their targets for increased numbers of adoptions for children in foster care." The technical assistance is to support "the goal of encouraging more adoptions out of the foster care system; the development of best practice guidelines for expediting the termination of parental rights; the development of special units and expertise in moving children toward adoption as a permanent goal; models to encourage the fast tracking of children who have not attained 1 year of age into pre-adoptive placements; and the development of programs that place children into pre-adoptive placements without waiting for termination of parental rights." 

In the November press release from HHS it continues, " HHS awarded the first ever adoption bonuses to States for increases in the adoption of children from the public foster care system." Some of the other incentives offered are "innovative grants" to reduce barriers to adoption [i.e., parents], more State support for adoptive families, making adoption affordable for families by providing cash subsides and tax credits. 

A report from a private think tank, the National Center for Policy Analysis, reads: "The way the federal government reimburses States rewards a growth in the size of the program instead of the effective care of children." Another incentive being promoted is the use of the Internet to make adoption easier. Clinton directed HHS to develop an Internet site to "link children in foster care with adoptive families." So we will be able to window shop for children on a government web site. If you don’t find anything you like there, you can surf on over to the "Adopt Shoppe." 
If you prefer to actually be able to kick tires instead of just looking at pictures you could attend one of DSS’s quaint "Adoption Fairs," where live children are put on display and you can walk around and browse. Like a flea market to sell kids. If one of them begs you to take him home you can always say, "Sorry. Just looking." The incentives for government child snatching are so good that I’m surprised we don’t have government agents breaking down people’s doors and just shooting the parents in the heads and grabbing the kids. But then, if you need more apples you don’t chop down your apple trees. 

Benefits for Foster Parents

That covers the goodies the State gets. Now let’s have a look at how the Cleavers make out financially after the adoption is finalized. 

After the adoption is finalized, the State and federal subsidies continue. The adoptive parents may collect cash subsidies until the child is 18. If the child stays in school, subsidies continue to the age of 22. There are State funded subsidies as well as federal funds through the Title IV-E section of the Social Security Act. The daily rate for State funds is the same as the foster care payments, which range from $410-$486 per month per child. Unless the child can be designated "special needs," which of course, they all can. 

According to the NAATRIN State Subsidy profile from DSS, "special needs" may be defined as: "Physical disability, mental disability, emotional disturbance; a significant emotional tie with the foster parents where the child has resided with the foster parents for one or more years and separation would adversely affect the child’s development if not adopted by them." [But their significant emotional ties with their parents, since birth, never enter the equation.] 

Additional "special needs" designations are: a child twelve years of age or older; racial or ethnic factors; child having siblings or half-siblings. In their report on the State of the Children, Boston’s Institute for Children says: "In part because the States can garner extra federal funds for special needs children the designation has been broadened so far as to become meaningless." "Special needs" children may also get an additional Social Security check. 

The adoptive parents also receive Medicaid for the child, a clothing allowance and reimbursement for adoption costs such as adoption fees, court and attorney fees, cost of adoption home study, and "reasonable costs of food and lodging for the child and adoptive parents when necessary to complete the adoption process." Under Title XX of the Social Security Act adoptive parents are also entitled to post adoption services "that may be helpful in keeping the family intact," including "daycare, specialized daycare, respite care, in-house support services such as housekeeping, and personal care, counseling, and other child welfare services". [Wow! Everything short of being knighted by the Queen!] 

The subsidy profile actually states that it does not include money to remodel the home to accommodate the child. But, as subsidies can be negotiated, remodeling could possibly be accomplished under the "innovative incentives to remove barriers to adoption" section. The subsidy regulations read that "adoption assistance is based solely on the needs of the child without regard to the income of the family." What an interesting government policy when compared to the welfare program that the same child’s mother may have been on before losing her children, and in which she may not own anything, must prove that she has no money in the bank; no boats, real estate, stocks or bonds; and cannot even own a car that is safe to drive worth over $1000. This is all so she can collect $539 per month for herself and two children. The foster parent who gets her children gets $820 plus. We spit on the mother on welfare as a parasite who is bleeding the taxpayers, yet we hold the foster and adoptive parents [who are bleeding ten times as much from the taxpayers] up as saints. The adoptive and foster parents aren’t subjected to psychological evaluations, ink blot tests, MMPI’s, drug & alcohol evaluations, or urine screens as the parents are. 

Adoption subsidies may be negotiated on a case by case basis. [Anyone ever tried to "negotiate" with the Welfare Department?] There are many e-mail lists and books published to teach adoptive parents how to negotiate to maximize their subsidies. As one pro writes on an e-mail list: "We receive a subsidy for our kids of $1,900 per month plus another $500 from the State of Florida. We are trying to adopt three more teens and we will get subsidies for them, too. It sure helps out with the bills." 
I can’t help but wonder why we don’t give this same level of support to the children’s parents in the first place? According to Cornell University, about 68% of all child protective cases "do not involve child maltreatment." The largest percentage of CPS/DSS cases are for "deprivation of necessities" due to poverty. So, if the natural parents were given the incredible incentives and services listed above that are provided to the adoptive parents, wouldn’t it stand to reason that the causes for removing children in the first place would be eliminated? How many less children would enter foster care in the first place? The child protective budget would be reduced from $12 billion to around $4 billion. Granted, tens of thousands of social workers, administrators, lawyers, juvenile court personnel, therapists, and foster parents would be out of business, but we would have safe, healthy, intact families, which are the foundation of any society. 

That’s just a fantasy, of course. The reality is that maybe we will see Kathleen Crowley’s children on the government home-shopping-for-children web site and some one out there can buy them.

May is national adoption month. To support "Adoption 2002," the U.S. Postal Service is issuing special adoption stamps. Let us hope they don’t feature pictures of kids who are for sale. I urge everyone to boycott these stamps and register complaints with the post office.

I know that I’m feeling pretty smug and superior about being part of such a socially advanced and compassionate society. How about you?"

Let My Children Go! - Part 4

It has been said, there are none so blind, as those who will not see, and deaf, those who refuse to listen.  The stench of crime and corruption reaches the leaders of our nation, and yet they turn their heads to our plight and carry on.  For those of you who reject your senses, and ignore the cries of your brethren, a special spot in the Lake of Fire is reserved only for you and you alone.  To those ignorant or naive of the darkness looming over our great nation, open your eyes and force your gaze upon those who are willing to bear the torture of the destruction of the family unit, and fight to right wrong, unlawful and illegal behavior in those who claim to serve their citizens.  I hereby call you to ACTION

This is the last of the "Let My Children Go" series...so I had to post the 2 most recent pix I made for it.

The paragraph above, however, will be posted and reposted...again, and again, and will represent, for all of America and the world, as well as each and every individual State, County, City and family residents that have endured the suffering, pain and agony of this Government's actions against them; as well as their inactions, in their direct attack and eventual destruction of each and every person involved...parents, grandparents, mothers, fathers, siblings, immediate families, relatives, friends and neighbors.  The American people as they stand now, united, with their faces turned towards the sky, crying out for their Government to take heed to their plight, shall not endure this torture for much longer.  We ask, now, that action be taken...or action may come, regardless.
